I got my hands on one of my husbands 'writings', and asked him if I could post it. He has not proofread it yet, but I begged to just go ahead and put it up....Here it is.....
King Of Sodom
If we could transcend the constraints of time and space and simply move this election year into the realm of trends, philosophy and societal norms of previous nations -- Barak Obama with his declaration of what he thinks is morally acceptable and what he has pledged to do, would win a land slide election as KING OF SODOM!
(The only civilization God single handedly wiped out for its banner sin, homosexuality.)
Barak Obama has stated and supports:
1. “I do not think that homosexuality is immoral”.
2. Supports and has voted for same sex marriage.
3. Supports changing the definition of marriage to include same sex…(and other unions?)
4. Supports the grisly practice of partial-birth –abortion. (Even up to full term – 40 weeks.)
The APPALLING thing to consider is that so many people who consider themselves Christians are either voting for Obama, or considering voting for him.
• Christians should never vote politics over righteousness.
• Christians should never vote economics over righteousness
• Christians should never vote party over righteousness.
BECAUSE Christians have a deeper understanding of the nature of the world in which we live, Christians understand that if God decides to bless a people, nothing in the world can stop it. Christians also understand that if God decides to curse a people, then nothing can stop that either.
Let’s hope and pray that the people who are begotten by the word….echo those words. Remember we are not of this world…we have a citizenship which is above…
Everything that we do on earth should be a reflection of that which is in the heavens.
Remember the Lords Prayer…Thy Kingdom Come they will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

EmOtIoNs GoInG CrAzY (Nov 4!)
With the elections so close, my emotions are best described as a 'roller coaster'. One day I feel confident that there's no way our country is crazy enough to elect Obama, while the next day or even an hour later, my pulse races and fear grips me at the mere possibility.
I wonder how can anyone who calls their self patriotic and loves their country put it in Obama's hands? How can anyone who calls their self a christian vote for someone whose belief system is so opposed to that of a God fearing person? How can countless numbers of people be so ignorant and so foolish?
I have made a vow to myself that if Obama should win the election this next week, I am not going to 'loose it'. I will look at it this way. 'It's the beginning of the end'. Pure and simple. The BEGINNING of the END.
I feel VERY STRONGLY that we MUST all get out and vote. It is our responsibility. However, should the outcome be our worst nightmare, I will look UP, and know that God's hand has got to be in it.....and pray, for our Lord to come quickly!

Happy Birthday To My Princess
Today we are celebrating my daughter Chantal’s 15th birthday. I am feeling so many emotions. Where have the years gone? My baby girl is like a beautiful flower blooming in so many ways. She oozes beauty and talent, and has an incredible personality, but what I am most proud of is her heart. Chantal is a real Christian. I watch her ‘work the altars’, and see an anointing and sensitivity way beyond her years. I watch her go out of her way to make people feel comfortable and accepted.
Chantal has also learned what it is to be a real friend. When Chantal’s best friend Briana was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, (caringbridge.org –ourgirlbri) I watched Chantal step into a new dimension of friendship. Chantal decided she was going to go through chemo with Briana the only way she could. She wore bandanas for several months….EVERYWHERE. Not just when she was with Bri, and not the ‘fashionable’ way with cute tendrils of hair falling out. We’re talking NO HAIR SHOWING front or back. (Her school office called us somewhat concerned until we explained.) For hospital visits, Chantal would put pajamas under her street clothes, and the minute we stepped into the room, the clothes were off, and Chantal was in the hospital bed laying next to Briana, her only goal was to make her friend laugh for a little while. When Briana had to go to LA for special treatments, and was not allowed to have any visitors, Chantal would do a computer video chat with Briana and dance and sing ‘their song’
….L-O-V-E , her payoff and most coveted reward was the weak little grin and giggle she would see on the computer screen.
I always wanted to have a daughter, and prayed and prayed for God to grant that request. I must say He exceeded every expectation I ever had. He gave me the most beautiful, incredible daughter any Mother could every wish to have. I am so proud to honor my beautiful daughter Chantal on this very special day. She is most definitely my pride and joy.

RUSH: The H-bomb has been dropped twice here in the last week by speakers who referred to Obama by his real name at McCain-Palin rallies. Yesterday Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Lehigh County GOP Chairman Bill Platt.
PLATT: Think about how you'll feel on November 5th if you wake up in the morning and you see the news that Barack Obama, that Barack Hussein Obama is the president-elect of the United States of America.
RUSH: And it happened earlier in the week at a Palin rally in Estero, Florida, Lee County, Florida, Sheriff Mike Scott, and he is being investigated by law enforcement for this. Yes. He is being investigated by law enforcement for this comment.
SCOTT: On November 4th, let's leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened.
RUSH: So the H-bomb dropped twice in the past week, therefore the libs, the Obama campaign up in arms about it. Let's go to Tuesday night in Nashville after the debate, unidentified reporters talking to the Obama campaign manager, David Axelrod, and the first reporter said, "What did you think of McCain calling Obama 'that one'?"
AXELROD: I thought that was odd. I mean I --
REPORTER: Seem a little disrespectful?
AXELROD: Well, I'll let others decide. I mean I think that people saw the debate --
REPORTER: Why was it odd?
AXELROD: Why?
REPORTER: Why was it odd?
AXELROD: Well, Senator Obama has a name, and generally you would expect opponents to use the name.
RUSH: They are! You said he's got a name, and so we're using his name, Barack Hussein Obama. "You can't do that! You can't do that! How dare you?" What's wrong with saying his name? It's his name. Getting awfully uptight here about things, aren't they? Getting awfully uptight. They see rallies far more excited than Obama rallies. By the way, Chris Matthews apoplectic over the use of "Hussein" as a name for Obama.
MATTHEWS: Yelling out from the crowd -- from the podium, from the stage, his name's Hussein, you don't want to wake up and know that the guy named Barack Hussein Obama is your president. Very ethnic. They're billing him as a furtive, dark figure of danger who's got connections with terrorists, who may get foreign money. I mean it seems like they're building the case he's in a sleeper cell, practically.
RUSH: I would endorse that theory. What's not true about that, Chris? What the hell's not true about that? He's not a Manchurian Candidate, but clearly he's the guy that's put a pretty face on a bunch of far-leftist radicals who are going to work from the inside of this country to change it for the first time if he gets elected, you dope.

SPANISH - SPANISH - SPANISH
Our church, Faith Mountain is a multi-cultural church. We have white, black, cuban, mexican, puerto rican, spanish, asian, etc... Being so close to the border, we have many spanish speaking people. Our love for our spanish speaking people is HUGE.
We have felt like they really need more than our english services to really be fulfilled, but at the same time haven't wanted to have a separate service, because they also love, and fit into our regular services. ....So, we are working on an exciting 'mix'. We are going to format our Wednesday Night service to be bilingual. I have started a spanish praise team and choir, (That makes 3 choirs now!!!!) and we are doing the 'authentic' stuff. It is SO MUCH FUN, and it is so beautiful to see how these sweet people just during practice, get so 'into' it. It really connects to the core of who they are like nothing else can. Not to mention that I AM HAVING A TOTAL BLAST. The upbeat stuff makes me want to get up and do a latin jig! LOL
So, 'Adios' for now.
